Institute of Polymers and Composites has new director
On May 28th, in the DEP/IPC meeting room, the new direction team of the IPC-Institute for Polymers and Composites officially started their term. The meeting was attended by Professor Pedro Arezes, President of the School of Engineering, Professor António Vicente, Vice-President of the School of Engineering, and Dr. Ana Paula Brites, School Secretary, along with various members of the IPC team.
António Pontes, an Associate Professor with Habilitation from the Department of Polymer Engineering, took office as IPC director, with Júlio Viana, an Associate Professor from the same Department, as the deputy director.
