The microscopy lab is dedicated to the characterization of optical and morphological properties of polymers. It supports the training of students in the areas of characterization and quality control, through the identification of product characteristics, defects and their causes, structural analysis of polymeric compounds or composites and morphological studies of semi-crystalline polymers. It is equipped with different sample preparation and characterization techniques.
